The Gate at Dusk is the sequel to The Civilization (long title: The Civilization of Light & Dark). Kadsa returns to Marut to begin her life with Khansu, now ruler of the land of godkings, only to find the fragile kingdom facing a new threat in the form of mysterious warlords hellbent on shaking down the gods.

The sequel has romance, mysticism, worldbuilding, mythos, gods, goddesses, visions & dreams.
